Due to the pandemic, this year all of the outdoor markets in which I typically participate were cancelled or moved online. Such a big part of my summer has been outdoor shows in the past and I've been eager to find a way to meet my customers outside this season.
My store is open, but not everyone feels comfortable coming indoors, so why not take it into the great outdoors?
I finally received permission from to be outside three days per week and you'll find me out front each Friday and Saturday and EITHER Wednesday or Thursday, weather dependent.
I'm bringing jewelry, island keepsakes and some of my most popular gifts outside.
I have stone markers on the ground to remind customers to stay 6 feet apart, as well as hand sanitizer at the entrance. Generally, one party may browse at a time and my staff and I are enforcing these safety standards.
