A couple of weeks ago my friend Annabelle asked if I could create a beaded "mask lanyard" for her.
Annabelle owns and operates a bed & breakfast in Vineyard Haven and always needs to have her mask available, but doesn't wear it constantly. She found that she was always taking it on and off and struggling with where to put it when it wasn't on her face.
"A what?" I replied.
We worked together on the design and she reports that she has worn it constantly since receiving her prototype. She swears she has accepted at least one compliment from her guests each day since wearing it!
I must say that I too am getting a bit tired of the "mask beard" or the "one-sided ear dangle" look. When I leave my house and head to the car I usually hook my mask on my ear/s until I go into public and it feels strange and uncomfortable. This new beaded accessory is just the solution! I hop it will help us over the hump of any mask wearing troubles just in time for fall.
